For those who have had the surgery...
Did anyone else have a case of nerves before? I guess I'm just scared of going under and never waking up or having problems.. I know Dr Glas**** is a great surgeon.. but (*&(&^(*&( .

Only you can decide if surgery is for you - but I guess if you think of where you are without it..... It is definately normal to have nerves before anything like this. (I havent had my wls yet but have had other kinds of surgery and it can be scary.) Good Luck what ever you decide! http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wGF7wA9/">

Before I had my surgrey 3+ yrs ago, I briefly looked at the memorial page and decided that only God knew when it was my time to go. I knew that my life would never get better (and probably get worse) if I didn't take the drastic step of having gastric bypass surgery. Dr. G and is staff are very good and have a very thorough program. Put your faith into their (and God's) hands. I can say this is absolutely the best thing I've done for myself. Well let me rephrase that -- since my surgery I also feel that being able to exercise every day (and looking forward to it) is also one of the best things I can do for myself..... I feel like a new person. Keep a positive outlook, but make decisions on how YOU feel and not what others "think" you should do.. Life is good..... better than I ever thought it could be.
